Tinubu is healthy and has returned from his trip on Tuesday the 15th of June, 2021, despite the rumours spread which claimed that he was dead.
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos State on Tuesday.
In some photos that have gone viral, the former Lagos State governor was accompanied by some assistants at the airport.
Upon being contacted, Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman, stated that Tinubu “came back into the country today after a trip overseas”.
However, he did not reveal the purpose of the trip or the country the former Governor visited.
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not dead contrary to rumours that was spreading all over which claimed that he was dead.
Tinubu was oddly absent last week Thursday 10th of June, 2021, when the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), paid a visit to Lagos and commissioned some projects.
A lot of APC supporters like the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, amongst others, were all present at the event.
Social media have been going crazy with rumours of Tinubu’s death. According to some of the rumours, Tinubu was said to have passed on in Dubai.
A lot of false online news platforms have been feasting on the story of the alleged death of Tinubu.
But it has been confirmed that the Jagaban is not dead. He is hale and hearty contrary to reports fake reports.
We recall that Tinubu did in fact travel to Dubai for medical check up.
A top assistant of the former governor of Lagos who chose to remain anonymous said the purported death of Tinubu was fake news and should be disregarded.
The source said Tinubu travelled to Dubai and is on his way back.
Rumours of his death may have been fuelled by the domestic accident Tinubu reportedly had in his bathroom about two weeks ago.
It was revealed that he had fallen on his two kneels and sustained some injuries, which made it necessary for him to travel to Dubai for medical attention.
