Imo State Police Command operatives have detained a 20-year-old school leaver, Peter Nwoke, in a room with two girls, for reportedly leaking a ‘sex tape’ of Chief Willie Amadi, an appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the video, in the 12-second sex tape that caught his image and those girls, Amadi, a lawyer and Federal Commissioner, Imo State Office of the Public Complaints Commission, was seen filming himself, showing they had a threesome.
Orlando Ikeokwu, spokesman for the State Police Command, stated on Friday that Nwoke had been detained by SaharaReporters.
He added, “The matter has been investigated and brought to court.”
Meanwhile, Nwoke said in his statement that a charge sheet (No: MCI/2C/2021) filed by the police at the Imo State Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Umundugba, Isu State Local Government District, confirmed the leakage of the film.
I asked him to come and pick up the phone at Umuogbor Isuobishi, Isunjaba in Isu LGA, and he came, collected and gave me N40,000. I had previously moved some material from his phone to mine that included photos he took in a swimming pool, Nwoke quoted the charge sheet as saying.
When he fled, envy and the devil invaded me. I figured I should make more money by seeing his car and thinking he’s a big guy, I wanted to superimpose one of his photos over a sex scene backdrop to compel him to reach a settlement with me.
“I got upset when I called him several times, and he didn’t answer my phone calls, and I wanted to send the images over the Internet.
“I was at a joint conference with several people three days later, when I was arrested by the police and taken to jail. At the police station, I admitted to the act because I did not realize that what I did would earn me such a major dilemma.”
Sources told our correspondent that before it was later posted on YouTube, the video first leaked on WhatsApp.
The video was later deleted by YouTube for having breached its ‘Terms of Service’.
