There was a tragic event that occurred in Lagos when a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) suddenly collapsed and passed away in his office. The individual, who was known as Chief Superintendent of Police Bolaji Olugbenga, was in charge of the Ijanikin Police Station 1. According to accounts, he complained of a mild headache earlier and had visited the hospital for a check-up, but regrettably, his health worsened, and he died away before reaching the hospital ².
This committed officer, who was known as easygoing and humorous one, has passed away, and the Lagos State Police Command is in grief over his passing. SP Ben Hundeyin, who serves as the Command’s Public Relations Officer, has verified the tragic news and expressed his sadness at the unexpected demise of the Second District Police Officer.
