Nollywood Actor Arrested for Defiling a 14-Year-Old Girl for 7 Years
Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha has been arrested for defiling a 14-year-old girl for 7 years. The actor had been sexually abusing the girl since she was 7 years old.
The Lagos State Police Command revealed that it has arrested a popular actor, Olarenwaju James, also popularly referred to as Baba Ijesha.
The Lagos police made this information public in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, titled ‘Lagos police arrest, investigate popular Nollywood actor for defilement’, on Wednesday the 21st of April, 2021.
The statement read, “The Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Olarenwaju James ‘male’ 48, aka Baba Ijesha, popular Nollywood actor for sexually assaulting a minor.
The case of defilement was reported on the 19th of April 2021 by one Princess Adekola Adekanya ‘female’ at Sabo Police Station and transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos to carry out further investigation.
“Based on initial findings, the suspect started sexually assaulting the victim, who is now 14 years old, since she was just seven years old.
The accused actor confessed to the crime and there was also CCTV footage of the actor carrying out the sickening crime in the house of the complainant.
CP Hakeem Odumosu, The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, has ordered for proper investigation as he promised that justice must be served on the matter.

Primary School Teacher Arrested For Sleeping With Male Pupils
The Oyo State police command on Thursday the 22nd of April, 2021, openly disgraced a primary school teacher, Ebenezer Olawuyi for raping two of his male pupils.
The 30-year-old, Olawuyi said he lured the pupils to his house to mark examination scripts for him and had carnal knowledge of them.
The state command also publicly disgraced 33 others for armed robbery, kidnapping, and carjacking in the state.
Olawuyi said he wasn’t aware of what led him to sleep with small boys rather than women.
He said, “I am doomed. I just raped two boys. I had girlfriends while I was still in school. I am not yet married. Both of the boys were my students. I invited the first one to help me mark my scripts at home with the approval of his parents while I raped the second one in the classroom before school opening hours.”
When asked how he was able to convince them not to report their parents, Olawuyi said; “I told them that I want to have sex with them and they didn’t argue. Both of them are between the ages of 11 and 14. I told them not to report to their parents because it had health benefits for them.”
Furthermore, he stated that the situation bothered him before he was arrested because he was unaware of what led him to it.
“I think it is the devil. I don’t know what led me to this. My dad just passed on last week. I want the government to help me out of this,” he said.
