Bolu probably attracted the furious reactions of some Africans, who are vehemently opposed to his homosexuality, after announcing his gay status.
Bolu, the son of Doyin Okupe, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesperson, went to Instagram to hit a critic about his newly revealed gay status, claiming he felt sorry for him.
Bolu probably attracted the furious reactions of some Africans, who are vehemently opposed to his homosexuality, after announcing his gay status.
An Instagram user went to his comment section to say that if he were in Kenya, he (Bolu) would have been a corpse.
“The IG user, @blueweb foundation, wrote, “You might be a corpse somewhere (in) Kenya. Never Go Against Our God! We Black Colored Remain in France for your incompetence (sic).’
Bolu responded to the critic, “Your whole mentality is tragic.” For you, I feel sorry. Has your faith turned you into a crazy imbecile who feels it’s all right to murder people? First, in your arrogance, you said to remain in France; sir, who do you think brought Christianity to Africans? The French and the English have forced the religion that you call upon you.
Black, you need to educate yourself a little. Secondly, while the world has changed while people like you are only trapped in the 18th century, the Europeans who gave you your confidence have now passed beyond that. You should know that the very trust that you cherish so profoundly justified people in the past to enslave your ancestors.
“You are deceitful. I hope you’ll teach yourself one day. I don’t care if not; you’re going to die misguided and on the wrong side of history. (sic)” (sic)
