A heated exchange of words has erupted between Burna Boy, the acclaimed singer, and Eedris Abdulkareem, his fellow artist, over a controversial remark that Eedris made on a forthcoming podcast.
Eedris, on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, slammed the Grammy winner for claiming that he had no support from anyone in Nigeria. He said, “It is nonsense for Burna Boy to say that nobody helped him in Nigeria.” Burna Boy, who was offended by the comment, quickly went to his X account to fire back at Eedris, saying that he holds those who paid for the ‘Jaga Jaga’ singer’s medical bills responsible.

He deleted the post later, but not before writing: “Abdul Kareem or whatever they call your father, you are not the problem. The problem is those who gave money for your hospital bills. I wish you could access the places I go to, so we could meet by accident.”
Burna Boy had previously stated that he does not earn money from Nigeria.
