BREAKING NEWS: Gunmen Attack Former CBN Governor, Soludo In Anambra & Murder Three Policemen during a discussion between Isuofia youth and Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
A resident told reporters that just yesterday, some unknown gunmen interrupted the interactive session between Isuofia youth and Prof Chukwuma Soludo. Three policemen were killed and one kidnapped in the process of defending the politician and the gunmen also carted away with their rifles.
According to the individual, There was a major stampede at the center of the town when the attack took place. People ran for their lives to prevent becoming a victim of stray bullets.
Reports have shown that Soludo, a governorship aspirant, was in the community for an interaction session.
It is still unknown who sent the gunmen but a lot of people suspect it is the governorship aspirants opposition. This is very unfortunate because in a democratic society such as ours, people should be able to play fair. But some in their quest for power have taken the law into their hands to ensure they emerge victorious to the detriment of others.
Investigation is still being carried out to find out who the culprits are and to rescue the policeman who was kidnapped. The incident raised drew a lot of attention and has stirred up some fear in the state because, it is still surprising that these individuals no longer hide to carry out these acts. They boldly cause problems in the open.
A resident said, “A couple of minutes ago, unknown gunmen disrupted the interactive session between Isuofia youth and Prof Chukwuma Soludo. In the process, three policemen were killed and one abducted, their guns were also taken away. There is a serious chaos in the town center right now,”
In addition, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has selected November 6th, 2021 as the date for the governorship election in the state.
