APC intends to rule Nigeria for 32 years: Buni the Yobe State governor said at the party’s strategy and contract committee inauguration held in Abuja.
Mr. Mai Mala Buni, The Chairman of the National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the 22nd of March revealed plans by the party to lead Nigeria for 32 years.
Buni, who also happens to be Yobe State governor, stated at the inauguration of the party’s Strategy and Contact Committee held in Abuja, that the party ruling for an extended period of time will make sure the implementation of the party’s manifesto aimed at making the lives of Nigerians better will be achieved. In addition to ensuring the APC remains the leading political party in Nigeria.
He also said, “The goal of the party is to make available a wheel that would move the party to go above the 6th, 7th and even 8th terms of office in order to fully implement the party manifesto which is aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians and maintaining its position as the leading political party in Nigeria.”
He also explained that the party organized the council as part of the corporate goal to recover, rebuild and reposition APC.
According to the governor, the caretaker council has within its establishment recorded honest resolutions and sorted out irreconcilable differences among major stakeholders of the party.
“As l stated initially if you don’t handle your issues, your issues will deal with you. I am delighted to say that the committee is carrying out an administration that includes all, this will give stakeholders and our members the chance to give their input to the weighty task of rebuilding the party,”
Buni also noted that the group has very dedicated members willing to serve in different committees as a way of handling the crises of the party.
He linked the achievements recorded within this time to the support of the committee.
Buni included that this has evolved into the return of stakeholders and the supporters who initially left the party. whereas the party’s efforts in enticing members of other political parties into becoming a part of APC have been a success.
