Bandits murder 2 more Greenfield Varsity Students in Kaduna on Monday the 26th of April 2021. The dead bodies are currently in the mortuary.
The Kaduna State Government has released new information regarding the students who were kidnapped by bandits on Tuesday the 20th of April, 2021.
Again the bandits have murdered two more students of Greenfield University Kaduna, who were part of those kidnapped on Tuesday.
Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, revealed this sad news in a statement issued on Monday the 26th of April, 2021, in Kaduna.
Aruwan said, “On a sad note, security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government that they have recovered 2 new dead bodies and they have been identified as being one of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday the 26th of April.
“The recovered corpses have been taken to a mortuary, and the university has been duly informed of the new development.
“The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai extremely saddened by this evil carried out against innocent students who were kidnapped while pursuing their education for a brighter future.
“The Government sends its deep condolence to their families and the university management, and prays for the resting of their souls,” Aruwan stated.
We recall that the bandits had killed three of the abducted students just three days ago, on Friday the 23rd of April, while one staff of the University was also murdered on Tuesday the 20th when the incident first took place.
About 23 students and staff were kidnapped from the university campus on the 20th of April which has now become a very dark day to remember for the school, the parents, friends, and well-wishers of the unfortunate victims.
At this point, it is clear that these hoodlums are not bluffing and will do whatever it takes till their request for 88million naira is granted to them.
