Why Buhari may not fire Pantami – Bamgbose
Why Buhari may not fire Pantami – Bamgbose says that the president’s administration has been invaded by terrorists.
The chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq. , stated that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been infiltrated by terrorists.
The senior lawyer claimed that though many are unaware, “the Buhari administration has been invaded by terrorists,” and there are spies in the administration who are secretly working for some forces outside Nigeria.
“It has always been like that since Jonathan took over from Musa Yar’adua. Late Musa Yar’adua was one person who vehemently opposed the issue of infiltration and his government sadly did not last long.”
Mr. Olusegun also stated how in 2011 or thereabouts he warned Jonathan that suicide bombings were coming, according to him, Jonathan never believed it but not quite long Boko Haram started suicide bombings.
The lawyer’s comments seem to be in line with the allegations of links with terror groups like Boko Haram, Taliban, and Al Qaeda levelled against the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
Based on the allegations against the minister, Nigerians from all walks of life have asked the president to sack the minister while many others have demanded that he honorably resign.
However, Bamgbose said the people should live with the hard truth that, such is likely to not happen.
“Those asking for Pantami’s head should better forget it, I seriously doubt if Buhari would agree to that. Isa Pantami has a lot of connections. He is extremely wealthy.
“Isa Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, also once declared that he was always happy when infidels were massacred.
The lawyer also said the Pantami is a well-known Salafist. Little wonder why he has never for once condemned the lawless and reckless activities of the Boko Haram insurgents.
“The sad truth however is that there are still many others who have not yet been exposed. The spies are literally in the Executive, Legislature, and the Judiciary.
“Undoubtedly we are such in a very hazardous situation in this Nation. We indeed have a major crisis that can only be solved by God’s intervention.
“The insecurity we are experiencing in Nigeria is being sponsored. Some top politicians are working for some forces outside the country.
“This is rather unfortunate. I challenge our religious leaders to pray seriously for this country or else the unexpected and undesirable may be unavoidable,” Bamgbose said.
