Don Jazzy says he is related to Daddy Showkey during the interview yesterday, where he spoke about his upbringing in Ajegunle, Lagos.
Yesterday the 1st of April, 2021, The legendary Nigerian music producer, founder, and CEO of MAVIN Records, Don Jazzy did an interview with Ebuka from Black Box.
In the interview, Don Jazzy talked about how he was brought up in Ajegunle, Lagos and his early days of discovering music at the Cherubim and Seraphim Church where his family attended. He also spoke about how he might be the greatest Instrumentalist to have ever lived
Ebuka initially asked Don Jazzy about the realities of his upbringing in Ajegunle when Don Jazzy replied that, “My parents sort of kept us hidden from the realities of ajegunle. I can’t say my Ajegunle is Daddy Showkey’s Ajegunle, obviously. I’m not sure how we’re related, but we’re related… My father knows how we’re related, he is my elder bros.”
When asked why Don Jazzy and Showkey haven’t done a musical collaboration yet, Don Jazzy said that it just hasn’t happened yet, but now that he’s back to producing, perhaps it may happen, “Why not? Nothing is impossible.”

The Nigerian beauty queen was shot dead in the US while sitting in her family car in front of her home.
Nigerian beauty queen shot dead in the US
Miss Najeebat Sule, a former Nigerian beauty queen and doctorate student was shot dead while sitting in her car parked in front of her family’s home located in Philadelphia.
Sule also happens to be a Ph.D. student but she was killed as she was texting a friend in her car on Monday, the 12th of March 2021.
According to Najeebat’s dad, Adewale Sule, he heard the sound of gunshots and ran out of the house right on time just to see the suspect fire the last of the shots at his daughter.
“I saw the man shooting my daughter. After he shot the last round and I chased after him. He ran back to his car,” he said.
The beauty queen was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she was announced as dead after 30 minutes of arrival.
“I can’t think of anything that would make anyone want to take her life,” says Najeebat’s close friend Habibat Magaji, told the reporters.
Habibat Magaji was part of the last individuals to have seen Najeebat alive before she was killed.
The family is currently residing at an undisclosed location over concerns for their safety.
In the early 2000s, Sule and her family moved to Philadelphia from Nigeria

Until she was killed, she earned a Master’s degree in public health from West Chester University and was going for a doctorate degree.
In the year 2019, she was crowned as the second runner-up at the Miss Nigeria International pageant.
