The NIN is now a necessary requirement for UTME and direct entry admission says JAMB, The Joint Admissions, and Matriculation Board.
“Registration will commence in 700 centers all over Nigeria; the list for the centers is available in all the state offices of JAMB and on its website at www.jamb.gov.ng.
“The accepted plan for registration and examination is that the registration exercise will begin on Thursday the 8th of April and end on Saturday, the 15th of May, 2021 .”
Benjamin revealed that the registration for applicants going for direct Entry will happen at the same time with that of UTME candidates.
He further added that there will be no extension of time for selling the UTME or direct entry application documents.
According to the JAMB spokesman, the mock examination will happen on Friday, the 30th of April for all those who showed interest and have registered before the 24th of April.
He said that “UTME will start from Saturday, the 5th of June to Saturday, the 19th of June, 2021.”
Benjamin also said that venues for the exam would be any center in the candidate’s chosen examination town.
The registration fee for the 2021 application documents remains N3,500 and N500 for the Reading Text endorsed by JAMB.
Finally, the JAMB spokesman said more information as regards the registration processes and requirements would be communicated via the JAMB’s official website and also advertised in the electronic and print media from the 5th of April.
